Sympler Books is being built around the questions owners actually face: What was that payment for? Did I record the same expense twice? What is missing before I talk to an accountant?
Our approach puts those questions beside the records, with plain-language assistance, editable categories, and notes that preserve the business context. The goal is less repetitive admin and better preparation for tax conversations.
Founder Sean Hakes brings the perspective of a small business operator to the product. Sympler Books is software in an invitation-only rollout; it is not presented as a CPA firm.
